@faith2xxx I’m a 49-year-old African American who found John Taylor and Simon LeBon easy on the eyes back in the day. They still look good now. I’ve been a Duran Duran fan since I first heard Hungry Like the Wolf on a local radio station. The video took them to another level.

ps. Broke my heart in two when he got married. I bought the Elle magazine with her on the cover just to see what she had that I didn’t. LOL!!!
i thought their lyrics nonsense…but the grooves were timeless…the only time they ever messed up was when they tried to be a rock band…when it came to dance and pop no one could touch them !

During the time Duran ruled the eighties practically every male the world over (including myself) mimicked their mannerisms (and secretly envied them), and every female the world over swooned over them.
As I get older, I realize just how amazing they were.
