The prosecution went for the harshest punishment without motive.
Cause of death was accident w/chloroform not being stabilized & stored properly. Phosgene collected was released, killing Caylee within 2-4hr.
What we will never know is whether Casey came back to the trunk and saw her in distress with skin burns, enlarged eyes and eye burns, and coughing up pinkish fluid. Did Casey see her dying and put duct tape on her mouth with remaining chloroform?
Or did she check on Caylee too late?

4.)In people’s mind they think “a party girl dancing drunk on a strip pole must have issues”. The parents helped create confusion on who actually murdered and hid the body. Now when they “go after” George they will find he had nothing to do with it. By that time they will figure out that Casey got off, and that she can’t be brought back up on charges. Wow, too much time on my hands, right? Just my opinion
3.)This leads to the husband being found not guilty. It is only afterwards that Phoebe tells Allan that they planned the whole thing. When Phoebe was on the stand being grilled by Allan even he starts to believe Phoebe did it.
I believe there was no abuse. I believe George and Cindy were advised by counsel that if the jury even slightly suspected that someone other than Casey (ie George) was sick, twisted enough to murder and hide the child, she would walk.
2.)Of course Phoebe and her husband planned the entire “wine story” to give the jury the idea that maybe Phoebe murdered the mistress and not her husband. This is to show that Phoebe is some how capable of violence, and even possibly murdering her husband‘s mistress. Phoebe keeps Allan in the dark about it to make it believable (and to protect his career). The jury listens to Allan grill her about that incident.
1.)Not sure of the episode or season. But for those who watched Boston Legal I asked that you find the episode where Allan’s ex girlfriend’s Cardiologist husband is on trial for murder (of his mistress). In the end thru misdirection Phoebe (Allan’s ex girlfriend) “sets Allan and the jury up“. By having her husband lie about an incident where she purportedly went after one of their kids with a knife for spilling wine on the carpet. When Phoebe is testifying Allan asked her about that incident.
@billbit96 yeah no shit she didn’t have family support because she basically blamed this on everyone of her family members, this jury had to be the worst ever she is obviously guilty for 1st degree manslaughter and aggravated child abuse.
If she is healthy woman we need more babies in USA. Let her mate and watch to see if she loves a baby. That is the true judgment. We need more white babies with hot looking females in USA!
Horah! I dont believe she killed that baby. Neglect maybe but not to cause death. And, she was withdrawn with no family help or support, she was confused and afraid to report the missing child. Today’s investigations are scrupulous to catch real criminals. Leave the poor woman alone she suffers already the loss of a child. Crazy society.
