You do need that… lovely Spring Mushroom for Green Star 3, but other than that, the Green Stars here are relatively simple to find and collect. I had 99 lives (no hacks cheats or glitches, there is a trick in supermassive galaxy), and when I finished Cosmic Clones In The Chompworks, I had about 70.

@excompater , one large reason is because he used Mario for the main playthrough, so he’ll use Luigi for all the Green Stars, so that each of the brothers gets some love, and, well, the Green Stars are green like Luigi.
If you go back and watch your original play of the spring mission it will probably be painful to watch yourself go back and get the spring every time you get hit on the Chomp part, now that you know you can just backflip them.
@younglink53 I don’t think I’ve ever gotten on top of there. All I remember is dying endlessly trying to because the Chomps seemed to come out too fast. Now I’m going to have to try and get up there next time I play.

He uses him because Luigi jumps higher (and farther), which makes it easier to get the hard-to-reach stars.
for green star 2 you can also go down to the switch and jump on to the box where the chomps come out of, of course your way is much easier though lol
I have a question: when you use Pinnacle Video Transfer, how big is a file that’s about 10 minutes long and after you’ve edited it on Windows Movie Maker?
wow, i thought the green star 1 was too far away to long jump so i got on top of that chomp dispenser and tried long jumping off of that onto the green star, which isn’t the easiest thing in the world to do when you can’t change the camera angle.
Luigi seemed to enjoy the spring mushroom a lot more than you did. lol.
