My answer: The word is deterministic. Even though quantum physics relies of probability, I’d argue there are still underlying deterministic principles (much like rolling a 6 on a die can be determined if you evaluate the torque and initial velocity of the die).
@Gousteaue That’s the OPPOSITE to the conclusion experimental data is leading physicists to. Look into the “double slit experiment”, here OBSERVATION CHANGES THE RESULT. The real question is not whether our ability to observe changes reality, because it has been shown experimentally to do so. The real question for physicists to now answer is: “what is observation anyways?”
wait but the CAT sees what happens. the descision is forced by the cat, not us. Even if the cat dies, it SAW it and the descision was made. you said it can’t not see the gunpowder explode right? So nature ‘collapses’ to one realty; the cats reality.

If you wanted to believe there is a line of Gods back to back to back, then you can be a Mormon, but, I think personally Mormonism is a joke. My opinion but my point is that There is no God above God and God isn’t a cosmic accident.

What if you look into the bunker (ignoring cat’s needs for food and water) 2 weeks later. You observe obvious signs of a gunpowder explosion, along with a dead cat. Does that mean that you just witnessed 2 weeks worth of natures decision in the minute fraction of a second it takes for the light to reach your eye?

The best question to ask about this experiment is …who gives a crap about this? This is brain power wasted from something more important, if you ask me.
