How To Solve A Rubik’s Cube (No Memorization) – Part 3/4

www.PhilipBrocoum.com This video is still available in high quality. Add “&fmt=18″ at the end of the address in your browser. I’m sorry to say that it looks like YouTube lost the regular quality version of this video. Part 3 of 4 – I know, I know, my old Rubik’s Cube video sucked, but I’ve learned much since then. Hopefully, you will find these four videos more instructional. They will teach you to solve a Rubik’s Cube without any pre-memorized, magic sequences of moves.

When i did a cross in the yellow side, the keyhole wasnt filled in. How could that happen?

@Ruthjaah I have one too. its awesome. i know someone who can read energy and he said my energy level was a 10 when not holding it and a 2 when i had it in my hand, that means it lowers your energy, you can play with it all you want just don’t play with it or touch it all day, every day (don’t keep it in your pocket), especially when you are sick. (just something to remember)

    wow!!!! shit man awesome!

  • HollyTheFireNinja:

I speedcube and I love this! I haven’t drastically changed the way I solved the cube for a while, thanks for letting me think of it in a different way!

  • herbal1971:

@Ruthjaah I hope you enjoy it. It just doesn’t compare in any way to the Rubik’s Cube. That was true genius.

  • Ruthjaah:

@herbal1971 exusemoi?? the neocube is BRILLIANT! it’s amazing and i want it so much……

  • ZaburFTW:

None of these videos are actual How to’s. “Okay so you got this side and then you do this *fast move that looks like algorythms*”…either you explain to the audience how that move actually works and what it does, you just do it. You basicly explain what is supposed to happen but not how to get to that point.
Not trying to troll here, just some feedback on the title of your videos.

    Sincerly ZaburFTW

  • Kinjutsuu:

Nice guide, everything works for me, except I can’t get my corner back in the keyhole when doing the yellow cross on top.

Some tips on that would be appreciated!! =)

This is great! Although I’d probably recommend to have prior knowledge on how to use a rubix’s and its basic concepts. You’ve kept it simple I like that, but for other viewers who are completely new to the cube this might still be difficult. If anything new people should play with a cube to get how it works before following this video. haha But other than that this video is awesome. XD

  • herbal1971:

    Good videos. Thanks.

The cube is one of the great inventions of the 20th century and certainly 100x more impressive than the NeoCube, which is just a bunch of magnetic ballbearings.

  • Stedwick:

@poobslag It’s the same thing in math: if you derive the quadratic formula instead of memorizing it, not only do you come up with the same answer, but you come up with the same equation! How do you think they figured it out in the first place? =P

  • poobslag:

@hassanziadon you’re right, that’s an old corner-swapping technique i memorized when i learned petrus! but i guess it’s just coincedence; the next commutator/conjugate thing he demonstrates is nothing i’ve seen before.

  • davidskonto2:

what about the corner in keyhole.. it can be placed wrong… how to fix (i use intuitive f2l think its easyer than ur block build)

  • davidskonto2:

yeah i see… a good point of trying to undestand the cube and do my own experiments… great thx… and i see it isnt so hard (:

  • deaxkid:

    Oh My Dear God…

    Brillant

  • DB1815:

At 3:14 you say it’s not possible to have one edge piece missing. That’s true, but I have solved the yellow cross and now the orange blue white corner piece isn’t in it’s correct place!! It’s still stuck in the top layer!! Help?

  • JSUTrumpet:

This is the worst way to solve a Rubicks cube ever!!

  • hassanziadon:

5:23 that’s a move from the guide book and the step6 is U, R, Ui, Li, U, Ri, Ui, L

  • hassanziadon:

2:44 oh so it’s no memorization eh!

  • 8bjs:

watch my response video if your fucked on the last corners, its a WAY clearer explanation, fuck that computators and constipators bullshit, watch mine.

  • 8bjs:

@Rafalmeidaa HEY i posted a video, now you cant fuck up, watch it, its the clearest explanation for the last corners your gonna find. fuck.

  • 8bjs:

    im so drunk… lmao

  • 8bjs:

@Rafalmeidaa yeah dude, with your fuckin cube, when your getting the last 4 edge pieces, sometimes the rotation piece you use, is a reversed blocik of what you need, or, you push the wrong piece to the side, and only get 3 of the sides, well, what ya gotta do is flip the cube the OTHER way, and use a pull rather then a push, to get the 4th side, and your 5th side, then one you’ve been using? well, that fucker just falls into fuckin place. your welcome buddy. =]
