This is def a great white; they are found in the ‘warmer waters’ of the carolina’s fairly often. They wash up dead, or are filmed like this one. Scientists aren’t really sure why they are moving south more often in the past 10/15 years- but make no mistake, they are!
We live about 45 minutes from here and practically live here during the summer and was raised surf fishing these waters every weekend. I am sure this was deep sea fishing. It wont keep me from surfing. There are huge fish in these waters King Mackerals, Blue Fin Tuna, Big Blues with teeth and always a lot of different other sharks closer to the shore…no biggie. Im more concerned about getting pinched by crabs and stepping on nurse sharks.
not convinced thats a white shark….perhaps a big mako or porbeagle…the nose shape doesnt look tigerish and its a bit too streamlined for a bull which are the larger species typical of these warmer waters….white sharks are colder water fish rarely found in this type of water.
