There are two Green Stars to collect here. After this is complete, we can move on to World S, the final World of Super Mario Galaxy 2, to pick up the remaining Green Stars. Green Star 1 is relatively easy to get, but Green Star 2 can be annoying, as you must have the Cloud Suit and a Cloud accompanying Mario or Luigi when you move on to the next area. You only get one shot at them, but if you miss Green Star 1, you can still get Green Star 2. Green Star 1 is located in the really large jungle area; it’s at the very bottom. The first one is really easy to spot, but getting it is a little annoying at first. The second one is in an odd spot that some might have known about already, but others (like me) had no idea about. Super Mario Galaxy 2 Green Stars – Episode 28 – The Perfect Run
The Last and Final Star of Super Mario Galaxy 2. Super Mario Galaxy 2 100% Completed. There wont be a game like this in at least 10 years. It’s the best game ever made, despite all the Green Stars I’ve fought with, it’s still the best game out there. The jump between Galaxy 1 and Galaxy 2 might not be big for outsiders, but the perfection of this game is something that all games should strive for. Having a Wii and not played this game is a crime, a serious crime. I do hope there will be a Galaxy 3, perhaps as a launch title for the next Nintendo Console. For now I’ll keep enjoying this game, it has a great replay value too! To describe this game with one word….Perfection. Just perfect. Kudos to you Nintendo for creating the best game out there.

In terms of difficulty, this one pale’s in comparison to the previous galaxy, as well as the next one… Both Green Stars are far from the spinning blocks, and you’ll be using the Cloud Flower to get them.
