Kellie Pickler pranks Brad Paisley as he sings Dixieland Delight at Kellie’s hometown concert in Charlotte, NC. Kellie dressed as a farm girl and her band released live chickens on stage! She carried them over to Brad so they could watch and dance while he picked away. This was hilarious and a complete surprise! Since Kellie, Taylor Swift, and Jack Ingram pulled the first prank of the tour (Ticks) we thought Brad would pull the next one! Later on CMT Country Countdown USA Kellie explained that she thought Brad was going to prank her in Charlotte, so she brought a bunch of chickens along and was ready to retaliate. Kellie Pickler pranks Brad Paisley during a 2007 concert in Charlotte, NC (Prank starts about 1:16.) Rising country star Kellie, from nearby Albemarle, was one of the opening acts on Paisley’s Bonfires and Amplifiers Tour. (Taylor Swift and Jack Ingram also appeared on the tour that year.) Brad Paisley is notorious for pulling pranks on his tours, but this is one of at least three that the opening acts pulled on him that year. I was lucky enough to be there to see the prank, a bonus on top of an amazing concert with four great performers. == Because the audio isn’t so clear, here’s some of what they say (not exact) after finishing the song, “Dixieland Delight.” After he finished the song, Kellie still on stage, Brad struck back a little. Ignoring Kellie, he said, “let’s all give a big round of applause for Taylor Swift, wasn’t she great! And Jack Ingram was great too, wasn’t he?” Kellie, flapped her hands at him, dissing him for ignoring her in his comments. He then came back with “And Kellie Pickler….(loud applause and hollering)…..will not be working with us after tonight’s show!” (Thanks to Robert of KellieFans.com for this.) == During the tour, Kellie and Taylor became close friends. Taylor will be headlining her own tour — Fearless 2009 — this year, with Kellie as the opening act. This is a tour you don’t want to miss. And Brad ALWAYS puts on a great show.
