“Dus Numbri” is a 1976 Hindi film. Produced and directed by Madan Mohla it stars Manoj Kumar, Hema Malini, Pran, Premnath, Bindu, Kamini Kaushal and Om Shivpuri. The music is by Laxmikant Pyarelal. The film was later remade into the Telugu film KD No. 1 (1978) starring NT Rama Rao and Jayasudha. The film was the top hit of 1976. The film ranked #10 for the 1970’s decade and is also ranked #47 of all time hits……Lata Mangeshkar (Marathi: लता मंगेशकर; born September 28, 1929) is a singer from India. She is one of the best-known playback singers in the Hindi film industry. Mangeshkar’s career started in 1942 and has spanned over six and a half decades. She sang in over a thousand Bollywood movies and has sung songs in over twenty regional Indian languages, but primarily in Hindi. She is the elder sister of the equally accomplished singer Asha Bhosle and lesser-known singers, brother Hridayanath Mangeshkar and sisters Usha Mangeshkar and Meena Mangeshkar. Lata is the second vocalist ever to have received the Bharat Ratna, India’s highest civilian honour. Mangeshkar was featured in the Guinness Book of World Records from 1974 to 1991 for having made the most recordings in the world. Awards and recognitions; Lata Mangeshkar has won several awards and honors, including Padma Bhushan (1969), Padma Vibhushan (1999), Dada Saheb Phalke Award (1989), NTR National Award (1999), Bharat Ratna (2001), three National Film Awards, and 12 Bengal Film Journalists’ Association

Prem Nazir: The Evergreen Hero of Malayalam Cinema

Abdul Khader (April 7, 1926 – January 16, 1989), better known by his stage name Prem Nazir, was a Malayali Indian film actor. He is considered as one of the all time superstars in Malayalam cinema. He is referred to as Nithya haritha nayakan (Ever green hero). Nazir holds two Guinness records; one for playing opposite the same heroine (107 films), (Sheela)[1] and the other for the lead role in over 700 films[2]. The Government of India has honoured him with the Padma Bhushan and Padma Shri, the third and fourth highest civilian honours respectively, for his contribution towards Indian cinema.
