Mabel and Fatty viewing the World’s Fair at San Francisco, Cal.

SUMMARY The 1915 Panama-Pacific Exposition was San Francisco’s second fair (following the 1894 Mid-Winter Fair) and her first major exposition. The 1915 fair celebrated both the opening of the newly-completed Panama Canal — a triumph of Franco-American engineering — and the newly-rebuilt San Francisco, vital and vigorous after recovering from the 1906 earthquake and fire. The fair opened on February 20, 1915, and closed December 4, 1915, having attracted 18876438 visits by several million visitors. Mabel Normand and Fatty Arbuckle were major comedy stars of the silent screen. Mabel Normand (1894-1930) was a brilliant comedienne and prankster with an irrepressible vitality who became a Mack Sennet star. She played opposite such greats as Charlie Chaplin and Fatty Arbuckle and was perhaps the most talented comic star of the silent screen. Roscoe “Fatty” Arbuckle (1887-1933), a vaudeville veteran, became one of Sennet’s Keystone Kops in 1913 and rose to stardom. In 1917 he was accused of sexual assault in the death of starlet Virginia Rappe, who collapsed during a wild drinking party he threw in a suite of the St. Francis Hotel in San Francisco. Although acquitted, Arbuckle’s career was ruined. OTHER TITLES Mabel and Fatty at the World’s Fair CREATED/PUBLISHED United States : Keystone Film Company, 1915. Georgia Aquarium – The Viewing Window Pt I.

The viewing window at the Georgia Aquarium in Atlanta. This is one of the best parts of the visit to the Georgia Aquarium. The wall is the second largest viewing window in the world at 23 ft. tall by 61 ft. wide and 2 ft. thick and behind it there are over 100000 fish including 4 whalesharks (See Part II for more views). Commentary provided by Shona who filmed this video for her mom in Rialto, California! :)

The Georgia Aquarium – The Viewing Window Pt II

The video also includes the tour guides explanation of what we are looking at. This video was also filmed by Shona for her mom and family in Rialto, California. DEFCON 18: Getting Root: Remote Viewing Non-Local Consciousness (Video Only) 3/4

Speaker: Richard Thieme Richard Thieme celebrates speaking for Def Con for fifteen years by discussing the deepest truths he knows and relating them to Big Picture hacking. Thieme references the most fervent explorations of his life, from immersion in the works of the Society for Psychical Research while living in England as a young man to conversations with remote viewers in the governmentís Stargate program to thirty years of research in UFO reports (in particular, experiences of ìstrangenessî such as spacetime distortion and telepathic knowledge transfer) to the passionate, obsessive exploits of real hackers and what they discover when boundaries dissolve – all in a context of his own anomalous experiences. He talks about the background for ‘Mind Games’, his recently published collection of nineteen stories of brave new worlds and alternate realities, which he wrote after a friend at NSA told him, ìThe only way you can tell the truth now is in fiction. He also discusses why another NSA friend warned that he was ‘over the line’ in the hall of mirrors as a result of his conversations with dark side actors and victims alike. He weaves all this together in the kind of narrative usually reserved for private conversations but which he feels he owes Def Con colleagues and friends after fifteen years of enthusiastic and mutual knowledge-transfer.
