Thanks for posting this! It is a treat to see this prime example of hyper correct 1950-ism – and absolutely, horribly on target! You can almost see the sneer on the announcer’s face reading this, awful, awful script – I can’t think of where this would have been played – in classrooms? Theatres? Why was it made? What’s the point. No matter – still fascinating that this stuff was mainstream at one point.
